Using an in-pit crushing and conveying (IPCC) system to reduce or replace conventional truck haulage to the plant or waste dump brings significant savings, and not just in fuel. Savings, in operational costs, CO3 and/or dust emissions and worker safety, are challenges faced by most mines today.
