DOOSAN ADDS MORE MOBILE POWER: New G40 mobile gen-set targets construction, rental applications

Doosan Portable Power, Statesville, N.C., has added the G40WDO mobile generator to its product lineup. Rated with prime power output of 39 kVA/31 kW, the G40 fills the position between Doosan's G25 and G50 generator models. The new G40WDO is powered by a Doosan D24 diesel engine rated 49 hp. Doosan said the new G40 is exempt from permitting fees or surcharges assessed on diesel-powered equipment of 50 hp or greater in some states, such as the California Portable Equipment Registration Program (PERP) and Texas Emissions Reduction Plan (TERP).
