摘要

Two waves of spontaneous fetal loss occur in commercial meat pig litters; one at gestation day (gd) 15-30; the other at gd50. An increase in pro-inflammatory cytokines has been found at arresting compared with healthy porcine fetal attachment sites (Tayade et al, JI 176:148). However, levels of pro-inflammatory chemokines are not yet reported. We hypothesize that the C-C chemokine decoy receptor D6 contributes to fetal success by regulating en-dometrial attachment site inflammation through its binding and degrading of pro-inflammatory chemokines. Using Real-Time PCR, expression of D6 and the pro-inflammatory chemokines CCL2, CCL3L1, CCL4, CCE5, and CCL11 were relatively quantified in porcine endometrium (non-pregnant, gd20, gd50; n=3/ time), and trophoblast (gd20, gd50; n=3).
