Leg attributes and correctness play a big role in breeding cattle which need good mobility with minimal lameness. In the first of our series, Uncovering ￡PLI, Ann Hardy looks at the top 10 bulls in the leg health category.When the formula for profitable lifetime index(￡PLI) was adjusted last year it was also simplified in presentation. Traits were grouped into blocks and simplified using seven sub-indexes. In this, the first of our series, we look at the top 10 bulls in the leg health category.
