AJR teaching file: A rare multisystem disease with distinctive radiologic-pathologic findings.

摘要

A 70-year-old man presented with a fracture of the left distal humerus after a minor injury. An isotope bone scan showed multiple sites of abnormal uptake. The multifocal nature of the patient's osseous lesions prompted a complete diagnostic workup with CT followed by tissue biopsy from two sites. Relevant history included a fracture of the right humerus 18 years previously.
