How to Plant Coco Baskets to Help Prevent Drying Out

Coco baskets are great looking for your plants. Their problem besides costing a bit more to purchase is that they tend to dry out faster than plastic pots. This is of course because the coco is transparent, allowing the water to readily drain from it.Wind also works, causing drying of the soil media in thebasket. Personally, I do not like those coco baskets that have decorative chains to hang them up. They can become a tangled mess when planting or moving the basket. I like the solid wire hangers and, like the chain hangers, can be easily removed from the basket while planting.
