As the cold weather starts to invade much of the country it is time to think about moving inside those plants you wish to keep for another year. The best way to prevent future problems is to inspect all your plants carefully before you bring them intothe greenhouse or other indoor locations. Look closely at their leaves (especially the underside), stems and the soil. A quality magnifier with light is an essential. Check underneath pot rims and on the bottom of containers for slugs, snails and mealybugs.
