Employers' perspectives on musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) should include psychosocial risks and the cumulative effect of tasks, rather than being "skewed" by reporting systems that focus on incidents and injuries, delegates at the HSE's MSD summit heard. Speakers identified the links between MSDs, psychosocial factors and mental health, with keynote speaker professor Karen Walker-Bone warning of the danger of putting issues in "siloes".
