With the LNG market becoming increasingly seasonal and buyers demanding more flexibility, the reload business in Northwest Europe could be on track to expand after a lean few years. Two recent re-exports of cargoes originating from Novatek's new Yamal LNG plant in Russia underscore the uptick. One, from Isle of Grain in the UK, is headed to Boston in the US Northeast aboard Gaselys to take advantage of soaring prices (WGI Jan.3'18). The second Yamal cargo was unloaded at Ferrol in northern Spain after being re-exported from Gate LNG in the Netherlands.
