The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) is in the process of a comprehensive revision of the Food Safety and Standards (Packaging and Labelling) Regulations 2011, started in July 2019. This revision has the objective of creating three different regulations dealing separately with packaging, labelling, and advertising and claims.
