SOME VERY GOOD FRIENDS of mine are organic growers. I just want to get that out of the way right up front, lest I be accused of somehow being anti-organicfarming. It's not that I'm opposed to organic farming, I'm just not a strident supporter.That's what's always bothered me about organic farming. Too many people don't think about it as a way to farm, but as a calling, almost a religion. OK, there I've said it. Bring on the hate (e)mail, but I just don't think of organic farming as a way to live, but rather as a way to farm.
