Taking a break from the usual high-performance trackday upgrades, Andrew Chapple found himself fitting a set of grippy snow shoes instead of the usual Reebok trainers... SUNDAY DECEMBER 10th 2017 saw the heaviest snowfall in four years to hit the home counties and Midlands. Fortunately, the forecasters saw it coming, which gave me sufficient notice to remove Project GTI's original BBS wheels and excellent Michelin Pilot Sport 4 high-performance tyres and fit a set of Winter wheels and tyres that had been previously acquired, almost by chance.
