Product/Regulation: Daimler India Commercial Vehicles begins deliveries of trucks meeting new axle load limits

Chennai - Daimler India Commercial Vehicles Pvt Ltd (DICV) of Oragadam, near Chennai (a subsidiary of Daimler AG of Stuttgart, Germany), in response to changes in Indian permitted axle load standards, is now making available revised axles on two of its BharatBenz trucks. As a result its 49t gvw truck model 4928T (49t gvw) becomes 5528T1 with a gross vehicle weight of 55 tons. Similarly, the 2523R (25t gvw) model rigid truck has been revised to 2823R2 (28t gvw).
