Chile/Brazil-Marcopolo SA of Caxias do Sul, RS, in partnership with Mercedes-Benz do Brasil of Sao Bernardo do Campo, SP in June concluded delivery of 240 new city buses for the urban public transportation system in the city of Santiago, Red Movilidad. All were of the Torino Low Entry Articulated model mounted on an MB 0500 UA Euro 6 compliant chassis. Jose Luis Moraes Goes, Marcopolo's International Business Executive Manager said: "With this delivery, Marcopolo and Mercedes-Benz completes the supply of almost 600 new buses since the end of 2018, which reinforces the leadership of the brands in the Chilean transport system and demonstrates the significant historical participation that Marcopolo has in that country."
