Motorway junction takes shape at Avonmouth

Construction of a new junction is progressing well on the M49 at Avonmouth near Bristol, where activity is gearing up for a major bridge lift this summer. The ￡49 M scheme aims to unlock large swathes of brownfield land for development to the east of the motorway and improve access for lorries to already developed areas close to the Severn Estuary.
