Orion Engineered Carbons breaks ground on new Logistics Centre in Cologne, Germany

Orion Engineered Carbons S.A., a leading manufacturer of carbon black, is building a new logistics centre at its largest manufacturing plant in Cologne, Germany. The central warehouse will be 8,850 sqm (a capacity of approximately 12,400 pallets) and will have eight truck docks. The intention is to equalise plant traffic with an anticipated 100 trucks passing through the gates each day. Construction is expected to start in June, with the handover and commissioning of the new logistics centre in December.
