Held on Sunday 24 March at Stanfield, Norfolk, the most prestigious horticultural working event of the year took place, writes Paul Mackellow. With the British weather on everyone's side for the 10th annual Vintage Horticultural & Garden Machinery Working Day, the sun shone at various times but it was still rather chilly - but the ground conditions were just perfect. The show had a good turnout of exhibitors from many counties including Suffolk, Cambridgeshire, Essex, East Sussex, Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire, and Northamptonshire.
