Best display ever!

One of the highlights at Tractor World Spring on 22-23 February was the superb model section that featured more agricultural model dioramas than have been seen at the show before. Peter Love takes a look. One of the first model displays at this year's Tractor World Spring show belonged to event stalwart Harold Powlton. Although he has been displaying dioramas for many years, he has not rested on his laurels and continues to set the standard. Harold does not stop adding and creating, so it's always exciting to see his latest masterpiece! On his 4mm-scale diorama, which sees the landscape rise and fall, was a County Super-4 with what looked like a Dinkum digger on the rear end, clearing the ditch out. The grass is evidently soft, as it has wheel tracks amongst it and on the other side of the stream is a Massey Ferguson 165 with a Ferguson trailer behind - all weathered with fencing materials on the trailer.
