EU approves health tech cooperation

The European Commission’s proposal to boost cooperation between European Union (EU) member states for assessing health technology has been approved by the European Parliament. Spanish Member of European Parliament (MEP), Soledad Cabezon Ruiz, celebrated the decision, commenting that the new rules for health technology assessment (HTA) would 'improve healthcare technology so that patients can enjoy better and faster treatment'.
