Unless you have been living in a compost heap for the last year, you will know there has been a long overdue awakening to the world's plastic problem. While the main focus seems to have been around bags, bottles and straws, plastic is also ubiquitousin both commercial and home gardening. Plastic has some amazing properties and I am not suggesting we should remove it entirely from our gardens but we can certainly take some steps to reduce it.
