Posco to step up its game

South Korea's Posco has a long-term goal to raise its steel making capacity by around three-quarters to 70mt/y by 2020. It says it is currently making plans to meet that target and is considering buying mills overseas if need be. The group, which ranks the world's fifth largest steel maker, is keeping its cards close to its chest and for the time being says it is open to greenfield as well as brownfield opportunities.
