UK FITS ITS SECOND SEABIN

LONDON HAS A NEW weapon in its battle against plastic waste, thanks to a V5-hybrid Seabin, installed at Royal Victoria Dock to remove litter from the water. The unit is the second Seabin installed in the UK, after Portsmouth Harbour installed a similar unit last year. Seabins are floating rubbish bins, designed to gather plastic waste and other floating litter at commercial ports, docks and marinas. The units syphon water from the surface, passing it through a catchbag.
