IN most cases, beekeepers are happy when they see supersedure cells in their hives. It brings the chance to have a new, good queen without the assistance of the beekeeper, and supersedure queens are often considered the best. But not all supersedure cells are always welcomed. Nobody likes to see that bees build supersedure cells just after introducing a new queen into a hive. That can usually mean something is wrong with that queen. Of course, there are reasons why we could hope the supersedure queen will be better then the queen introduced by the cage, but sometimes we can notice a negative pattern of behaviour when bees continue to replace their queens, which is not desirable at all.
