Environment-friendly wallpaper glue is provided to neutralize cement toxicity, to block emission of poisonous gas, to suppress a mold and all kinds of bacteria inhabitations and to purify indoor air. A method for manufacturing environment-friendly wallpaper glue comprises the steps of: mixing water 63.0 weight%, water-soluble silicic acid(SiO3) 28.5 weight%, AT mineral powder 2.5 weight% and wheat flour 6.0 weight%; and uniformly the mixture and heating it to 100 °C to produce wallpaper glue. The AT mineral powder has the particle size of about 500 mesh. The water-soluble silicic acid does not contain heavy metal, and a deodorization rate after the half an hour is 80% or greater.
