After a tough 2012 with falling sales and a plunging profit, Swedish steel maker SSAB believes the worst may be over. “There are currently signs of a revival in economic activity in North America and Asia as compared with the fourth quarter of 2012,” said president and CEO Martin Lindqvist. The company expects its shipments to increase in those regions this quarter.
