Systems, devices and procedures for any time replication into the cloud. Data is replicated by replicating data to a remote memory or a data collector in the cloud. Simultaneously, a metadata stream is generated and saved. The metadata stream establishes a relationship between the data and the data transfers in the production volume. This allows a continuous replication without having to hold a replicate volume. The replicate volume can be generated during a rehydration operation using the metadata stream to construct the production volume from the cloud data.
