USA opens anti-circumvention probe into Australia, China, Indonesia UFP

The US Deportment of Commerce (DOC) has agreed to initiate an anti-circumvention inquiry into imports of uncoated fine paper (UFP) in rolls from Australia, Brazil, China and Indonesia. The probe was launched after the United Steelworkers Union and a group of US paper manufacturers alleged that UFP in sheeter roll form has been imported into the USA in an attempt to evade existing anti-dumping and countervailing duties (ADDs and CVDs) on sheet form UFP.
