China's MOFCOM upholds ADDs on DP imports from Brazil, Canada, and USA

China's Ministry of Commerce (MOP-COM.) has announced it will continue to impose anti-dumping duties (ADDs) on dissolving pulp (DP) imports from Canada, the USA and Brazil, following a reinvestigation of a 201.4 decision. The MOPCOM review began on August 25 last year. The ministry revisited the dumping case in response to a World Trade Organization (WTO) panel report upholding Canada's complaints that China failed to demonstrate how the imports had caused injury to its domestic industry in its initial investigation (No. 17, 2017,p.1).
