Robust pulp futures trade boosts BSK prices in China, irking P&B producers

Ever-more vibrant pulp futures trading in China, with their rising prices and volumes, have driven up levels for bleached softwood kraft (BSK) pulp imports across the board there, BSK futures levels for the (currently) most popular December 2012 contract on the Shanghai futures exchange have climbed RMB 160/tonne over the past two weeks, settling at RMB 4,732/tonne on Thursday.
