Futures investors, traders and end-users all snap up BSK pulp tonnages in China after big price cuts

Chinese buyers have been snapping up large amounts of bleached softwood kraft (BSK) pulp consequent to suppliers making deep price cuts. Sellers and customers reported that a major Chilean producer has managed to sell out its radiata pine tonnage allocated for May and June shipments combined, following a reduction of $30/tonne (No. 20, p.3).
