Nouryon: New hydroperoxide facility in China

Nouryon announced in July 2020 that it will start development of a new manufacturing facility at its current site in Ning-bo, China, to produce two key intermediates for its organic peroxides business: tert-Butyl hydroperoxide (TBHP) and tert-Butyl alcohol (TBA). The facility is scheduled to be completed in H2 2021 and will have an annual capacity for 35,000 t of TBHP/ TBA.
