A field experiment was conducted at Junagadh (Gujarat, India) to evaluate the effects of humic acid (HA) on nutrients content and uptake by summer groundnut and the residual soil fertility. The results revealed that soil application of HA @ 20 kg ha~(-1) + NP enhanced the content of N, P, Fe and Cu in pod as well as P, K, S, Fe, Zn and Cu in haulm and uptake of N, P, K, S, Fe, Zn, Mn and Cu over control. Application of NPK also improved the content of N, K, S and Fe in pod as well as P, K, S, Fe, Znand Cu in haulm, and uptake of N, P, K, S, Fe, Zn, Mn and Cu over control. The residual status of organic carbon, N, K, S, Fe and Zn was more with soil application of HA @ 20 kg ha~(-1) + NP over control. Balanced fertilization with NPK also increased organic carbon, K, S, Fe, Zn and Cu in soil as compared to control.
