Spline-Function Methods in Few-Body Problem

摘要

Advantages of the Faddeev differential formulation of the three-body problem are discussed. An introduction to the spline-function theory is given. The known spline algorithms for solving the Faddeev equations in the bispherical basis are analyzed and new ones are proposed. Particular emphasis is put on the problems of the point-by-point spline approximation and testing the spline algorithms.
