Write-downs grow at CBM-to-LNG projects

Investors in two out of the three coal-bed methane (CBM) to LNG projects at Gladstone in Australia's Queensland state have recently written down the value of the assets by a further A$6bn ($4.76bn). The moves add to earlier write-downs on the projects, which face the prospect of restrictions to their exports next year.
