In Memoriam: Masaya Segawa, MD, PhD (1936-2014)

Masaya Segawa, MD, PhD (Figure), the director of the Segawa Neurological Clinic for Children and one of the pioneers in the child neurology, passed away on December 14,2014, at age 78 years and 6 months. Dr. Segawa was born in Tokyo on June 4,1936. He graduated from the University of Tokyo, School of Medicine in 1962, receiving an MD degree, and received his PhD degree from the University of Tokyo, Graduate School of Medicine in 1970. After graduating from medical school, he joined the Department of Pediatrics of the University of Tokyo.
