For my comment this month, I wanted to share an important conversation I had with Chris Pack from BEAMA - a UK trade association representing manufacturers of electrical infrastructure products and systems. The BEAMA trade association is currently involved with several industry bodies in a proposal to support the introduction of a recognised Panel Builder and Wireman apprenticeship pathway in England. At present, a bespoke scheme is not generally available for our industry and existing apprenticeship schemes are not specifically tailored for our industry needs.
