A Highly Sensitive Resistive Pressure Sensor with MWCNT Nanoparticles-Liquid Crystal-PDMS Composite

摘要

A highly sensitive flexible resistive pressure sensor was demonstrated with a composite film comprising of low-polarity liquid crystal, multi-walled carbon nanotubes, and PDMS elastomer. LC droplets embedded in PDMS elastomer reduces the Young's modulus of the active layer. Optimizing, the sensor offers potential for wearable devices and electronic skins.
