CCM FORECASTS that year-on-year demand will decline for all three major classes of pesticides in China next year, driven by the government's efforts to control pollution and phase out the more toxic pesticides. Demand for insecticides is predicted toreach 103,700 metric tons, a 6% decrease from 2015, while herbicide demand will drop 4.3% to 104,700 metric tons, and fungicide demand will fall even further to just 82,700 metric tons, a decline of 9.3%.
