摘要

Over the past decade, science teachers have increasingly met in collaborative "teacher teams" to improve student achievement. As this format has increased in popularity, so too has the confusion about what constitutes high-quality shared work (DuFour 2004). There are few concise resources to help guide science teachers to better understand the phenomenon of working in collaborative, high-functioning teacher teams. This article aims to provide science teachers with the background information needed to understand the collaborative work of teacher teams.
