Building on the limited-scope multilateral trade deal struck in Bali to reach a wider Doha Round agreement will be "difficult" but achievable, believes WTO Director-General Roberto Azevedo.WTO members agreed on a partial multilateral deal involving limited steps on agriculture, a trade facilitation pact and moves to help the poorest countries boost exports at a summit in December.The agreed package covers only a small number of issues in the WTO's Doha Round of negotiations, but has been widely hailed as a success - proof that multilateral trading negotiations can bring results and 'saving' the credibility of the WTO.
