Japan's car giantToyota aims to sell morethan5.5 million electrified vehicles, including more than 1 million zero-emission vehicles-battery electric vehicles (BEVs), and fuel cell electric vehicles (FCEVs) by around 2030. India and China are also very much in the scheme of things. Toyota said December 18th, that it would launch more than ten battery-powered electric vehicles by early 2020s starting with China, along with India, US and Europe. The company said it aims to sell more than 5.5 million electrified vehicles, including more than 1 million zero-emission vehicles-battery electric vehicles (BEVs), and fuel cell electric vehicles (FCEVs) by around 2030.
