Pipeline construction outlook improves but not for big-inch projects

While the outlook for new pipeline construction in western Canada has improved, contractors say a revival in mainline construction might not occur until 2012 or beyond as some major projects get approved. The Daily Oil Bulletin spoke to several firms, from mainline contractors to smaller contractors that build shorter pipelines and gathering systems, as well as engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) firms.
