Strategic Oil & Gas encouraged by latest Muskeg Stack wells results

Strategic Oil & Gas Ltd. said its latest Muskeg Stack well has exceeded internal expectations. The well (10-24) was drilled in March with 1,438 metres of horizontal section and a 15-stage completion program. It had been tied in and producing for 52 days with initial rates well over the company's Muskeg type curve. Initial rates for the Muskeg Stack well 10-24 are a 30-day initial production rate of 560 barrels equivalent per day, and a 52-day initial production rate of 509 barrels per day. The well produced approximately 26,500 barrels (60 per cent oil) in less than two months.
