Thermoplastic vulcanzi ates (TPVs) based on new generation ultra-high molecular weight EPDM rubber and Polypropylene has developed and characterized for automotive applications_ The amount of PP has optimized by studying different mechanical properties_ The effect of nano-fillers, especially Hectorite nano-clay and nano-silica has explored in physico-mechanicalproperties Tensile strength, EB% and Modulus all are improved for nano filled TPV composites Therefore, due to incorporation of nano-fillers swelling also improved In morphology (AFM, SEM and TEM) study we have seen the fillers are well dispersed in the TPV matrix and nano silica fillers are well dispersed than nano-clay (Hedorite).
