There is growing demand for suitable cost-effective ways to mass produce lightweight parts.Together with 14 other partners from industry and research, the Fraunhofer Institutes for Production and Laser Technology-IPT and ILTin Aachen, Germany-are developing industrial processes for the production of parts made from metals and fiber composite plastics.
