摘要

For students to become engaged in learning, they need more than information in a presentation format. Instructors should develop presentation models that incorporate multiple forms of delivery to keep students engaged and increase their ability to retain the information presented. Although Web 1.0 (the original internet) allowed users to browse or search the World Wide Web, Web 2.0 technology allows students to use web-based tools that give them the opportunity to write, post, and interact on the Web by consuming, creating, and editing content and collaborating with others. Instructors should learn to embrace Web 2.0 technology if they expect the same of their students. The integration of technology into the classroom depends on how teachers and students accept and use the technology; with increased acceptance and use of technology, an increase in user comprehension is possible. Optimal technologies are available for little to no cost, making technology easy to incorporate into the classroom; instructors should explore whether they want to offer students the most ideal technology options.
