The Environmental Defense Fund(EDF) has filed a petition with a federal appeals court challenging the approval given to a gas pipeline near St.Louis.The EDF filed a petition in the US Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit challenging the permit issued by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission(FERC) to the Spire STL pipeline in 2018.”FERC unlawfully approved the Spire STL pipeline without a sound determination that the project is in fact needed.
