LNG Backstops PG&E Supply

Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E) has started construction of an LNG supply site in Calistoga, California, as part of a project to update a 90-year-old gas pipeline. PG&E said an upgrade of the system from Napa to Calistoga is needed to meet rising demand for gas in the area, as well as to meet federal and state regulatory requirements.
