Oregon state Sen.Jeff Golden(D)told opponents of the Jordan Cove LNG terminal in Coos Bay and related pipeline that the fight will likely be settled in court.The company has withdrawn a key permit application from the Department of State Lands while it waits for a final decision from the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission(FERC).As planned,the terminal targeting Asian gas markets has a nameplate capacity of 7-8 million tons/yr(1.04 billion cubic feet per day).Plans include construction of a 229 mile pipeline from Malin,Oregon,to Jordan Cove(NGWFeb.3'20).
