Arabica futures in New York ended with slight gains as a weaker US dollar and short covering lifted values. The benchmark arabica contract for September delivery rose 4.10 cents to 128.60 cents/lb, after touching a three-week high of 131.20 cents on short-covering by speculators who previously held a record amount of bearish bets. The December contract rose 4.10 cents to 132.15 cents/lb.
